Arthur C. Clarke predicts future digital age (1974)

Like all science fiction writers, Clarke has an eye for the future. Here he talks about what to expect in the future from computers. What caught my attention was the fact that he talks about a terminal to a central computer. While he does not quite predict the PC, it seems like he is talking about cloud computing.

  1. “Like all science fiction writers” — nope. Some SF authors are interested in telling a good story, in a literary fashion… And thus care little about whether their future is “possible” or not 😉
